MATT-JONES.ORG · THE FULL LINEUP · BUILT WITH CLAUDE

THE LINEUP

A support person who builds AI systems.

Nine innings, one batting order — every page below is a live, working tool you can actually use. Real APIs, real data, real geometry: customer support (the career), geofencing (the new interest), baseball (the lifelong hobby), and one comedy bracket. Step in anywhere.

1ST INNING · /calendarGOOGLE CALENDAR API

LIVE CALENDAR

A real booking page wired straight into the Google Calendar API. Pick a slot, it books a Google Meet on my actual calendar — and flips to busy in real time for the next visitor.

It bats leadoff for a reason: it's the fastest way to turn a portfolio visit into a conversation. No email tennis, no "what times work for you" — the calendar already knows.

2ND INNING · /llmadnessPOSTSEASON INVITATIONAL

LLMADNESS

Four chatbots. One bracket. You're the judge. Feed each matchup a prompt — "Is a hot dog a sandwich?", "Name my goldfish" — and watch ChatGPT the People Pleaser, Gemini the Search Bar, Claude the Overachiever ("I went ahead and built it"), and Grok the Reply Guy answer in their truest form. Vote a winner through the semifinals, crown a champion, run it back.

Every "response" is handwritten parody — nothing on the page was generated by, or came within a hundred miles of, the real products. The caricatures are affectionate. Mostly.

3RD INNING · /cry-wolfGEOFENCE SANDBOX

CRY WOLF

An interactive sandbox that teaches geofencing from zero: draw circle and polygon fences on a live map, run them against three GPS routes, watch the false alarms roll in, and see the math that separates a good fence from a noisy one.

Circles are cheap and fast; polygons hug the real shape of a site. Cry Wolf lets you feel that trade-off instead of reading about it.

4TH INNING · /box-scoreAI-ASSISTED QA

BOX SCORE

Quality assurance for support teams, done the right way: one-tap calls on real-feeling tickets, an AI replay booth that shows its reasoning, and a box score at the end of the game. The AI surfaces the signal; a human makes the call.

The whole thesis in one line — AI is our friend and helper, not a job stealer. Six-plus years of frontline support turned into working software, built the way a support person would build it: for the customer first.

5TH INNING · /bullzenSUPPORT SOLUTIONS ACADEMY

THE BULLZEN

Welcome to the bullpen. Nine innings of Zendesk fundamentals — tickets, views, macros, triggers, automations, SLAs, CSAT, help center, reporting — and every one is a working demo you can actually press. Fire a trigger, breach an SLA, deflect a ticket, watch the CSAT meter move.

Extra innings hold a nine-question certification exam: score 7 of 9 and the Support Solutions Academy prints your certificate on the spot. It began life as a walkthrough built for a live interview panel (it went over very well); this is the full-stadium rebuild.

6TH INNING · /windhoverQA/QC TRIAGE

WINDHOVER

The companion piece to Cry Wolf — same world, opposite job. Windhover is a QA/QC triage simulator with real geometry validation: work a queue of suspect fences and make the calls an analyst would make.

Where Cry Wolf teaches you to draw a fence, Windhover teaches you to audit one — self-intersections, absurd areas, misplaced perimeters, the works.

INNINGS 3 & 6 — THE STORY BEHIND THE PAIR

THE GEOFENCING STORY

A geofence is a virtual perimeter drawn over real-world coordinates — cross the line, and software knows. While interviewing with the owners of a geofencing firm, I didn't just study the space; I built in it. Cry Wolf and Windhover came out of that process, and so did the recommendation below.

WHY TWO TOOLS? Building a fence and trusting a fence are different problems. Cry Wolf is the classroom; Windhover is the inspection. Together they cover a geofence's whole life: drawn, deployed, doubted, verified.
LUCAS SCHORER LINKEDIN RECOMMENDATION · JULY 14, 2026

“From a character, work ethic, and aptitude standpoint, he checked every box we were looking for.”

“I had the pleasure of getting to know Matt through several rounds of interviews during our hiring process, and he made a lasting impression.

From the beginning, Matt was incredibly engaged, thoughtful, and genuinely curious about our business. Rather than simply preparing for interviews, he invested significant time learning our market and even built custom applications to demonstrate his understanding of our products, use cases, and the problems we're solving. That level of initiative and preparation is exceptionally rare.

Throughout the process, Matt consistently demonstrated strong communication skills, intellectual curiosity, and a clear willingness to learn. It was evident that he would bring both energy and ownership to any team he's part of.

Ultimately, we chose to move forward with a candidate who had extensive experience in the transportation and logistics industry, a very specific requirement for this particular role. That decision was driven by industry experience, not by any shortcomings on Matt's part. From a character, work ethic, and aptitude standpoint, he checked every box we were looking for.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Matt to any organization looking for someone who is hardworking, proactive, and eager to tackle complex problems. I have no doubt he'll make a meaningful impact wherever he lands.”

INNINGS 7–9 — THE LIFELONG HOBBY

BASEBALL

Baseball is my #1 hobby, and I've never been patient about it — I start calculating magic numbers way too early, every single year. So I built the tools I always wished I had. All three run on live MLB data, and they're wired together: click any player's name and land on their card. Taken as one system — standings, leaderboards, player cards — these three innings add up to a reliable stats suite that could go toe-to-toe with MLB.com or ESPN.

7TH INNING · /magic-numberLIVE STANDINGS + MONTE CARLO

MAGIC NUMBER

The magic number is the countdown to clinching — wins plus rivals' losses until the division is mathematically yours. I used to work these out by hand in July, on faith and a napkin.

This tool gives me what I never had: live standings, Monte Carlo playoff simulations, percentages, scenarios. Not just possibility — probability.

8TH INNING · /black-inkDAILY DRIVER

BLACK INK

Literally a tool I use every day. Categorize players by any stat, browse live 2026 leaderboards built on advanced stats, and shuffle through the entire league player by player.

Named for the bold print a league leader earns on their stat line — and perfect for tracking Yordan Alvarez's Triple Crown bid, one leaderboard at a time.

9TH INNING · /scouting-reportLIVE PLAYER CARDS

SCOUTING REPORT

Live player profiles straight from MLB's stats feed: bio, roster status (IL flagged in red), the current season in scoreboard digits, and a full year-by-year table.

The three baseball boards are wired together — click any name on Magic Number or Black Ink and land on that player's card; every card links back to the club and the leaderboards. The deep-dive companion that closes out the order.
